Feeds and Treats
Welcome to our shop. All proceeds from any items that we sell go to help the chinchillas. We are a self funded rescue and regularly have vets bills in the hundreds of pounds. Please take a look and see if there is anything that your little furries may enjoy.
We use all the items below for the chins in our care on a regular basis. All mixes have been designed to take into account the chinchillas exotic diet and needs.
It is very difficult to put the exact price for P&P on the shop, but if you know what you want, we can work it out. If you would like us to provide an exact amount for P&P, then please contact us.
Feeds and Treats
Vegetable Mix
This is a dried vegetable mix that we use daily alongside our other mixes.
Our Vegetable Mix varies in content which we believe stimulates the chins and helps to maintain dental health which is a major problem for these little furries.
The vegetable mix is slowly dried at a temperature that helps to retain vitamins and fibre.
This mix contains:
- Carrots
- Potatoes
- Sweet Potatoes
- Cabbage
- Swede
P&P is £1.20 for the first mix and just £0.40 for each additional box
Tub dimensions: L - 16cm, D - 5cm, W - 11 cm
The tubs are all filled to the top, though some settling may occur in transit

Build & Calm Mix
A mix to help build up underweight chinnys. Can be used as a little treat a couple of times per week for
any chinny.
You Can also use it post-op eg. after dental surgery, as it can be sore for your chinny when eating.
I find it encourages them to eat.
It smells lovely and has lots of nutritional ingredients along with calming herbs. The herbs aid digestion in combination with bran and hemp seed.
Comes in 250 gram bags. If you require a larger quantity please contact me.

- Chamomile Flowers
- Mint
- Quinoa
- Bran
- Hemp Seed

Charlies HiFi Mix
Charlies high fibre mix is great to add to your chinny's feed each day.
The mix is full of fibre which is great for their guts!
There are also some apple chunks - just enough to give them a treat.
Our chins love it.
The mix comes in 250g packs and should be stored in an air-tight container once opened. It is completely chemical free.
This mix contains:
- Oats
- Bran sticks
- and more!
